USA Boxing Foundation Announces Adam Mancuso as President of the Board of Directors

The USA Boxing Foundation announced today the appointment of Adam Mancuso, as President of the Board of Directors. The USA Boxing Foundation supports the national governing body and its members by raising funds and providing financial resources for programs that advance the sport of amateur Olympic-style boxing.

“I am honored to serve in this important role with the USA Boxing Foundation. Boxing is my ultimate passion; it’s in my blood. I love it. I live it,” stated Mancuso. “I’ve spent countless hours in the gyms nationwide, thousands of rounds sparring, and know the power of boxing. Being able to combine my passion for boxing and finance, I was all in. I look forward to forging new impactful relationships while elevating USA Boxing, with the front sight focus of achieving greatness on the international stage and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.”

As Board President, Mancuso will oversee the operation of the USA Boxing Foundation Board of Directors. He will prioritize working with the Board to optimize the Foundation’s mission to provide opportunities inside the ring and to champion life outside of the ring.

Mancuso will also look to fulfill USA Boxing’s newest donor campaign, Team28, a four-year high-end donor program to lift USA Boxing to once again be the best in the world and stand on top of the podium in Los Angeles in 2028, as well as to support the next generation of champions at the grassroots level, provide more international competition opportunities and increase the parity in women’s boxing.

The fourth-generation entrepreneur in the automobile industry has been part of Lake Forest Sportscars in different capacities since joining in 2000 and has served as the Chief Operating Officer since 2009. During his tenure, Mancuso has forged partnerships with local and national retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Priester Aviation, Citation Aircraft and Bacardi Spirits, as well as spearheaded the migration of Tekion, a new innovative dealer management system, becoming the first Ferrari dealer in the world to adopt it.

Mancuso has carried his dedication and work ethic inside the boxing ring, where he won the 2015 and 2016 Chicago Golden Gloves Masters titles. Before becoming a student of the sweet science, he earned a black belt in Shotokan Karate and studied in a defensive Israeli system called Krav Maga.

“Over the last few years, the USA Boxing Foundation has become more active and achieved numerous goals to support USA Boxing and its growing membership,” USA Boxing CEO/Executive Director Mike McAtee noted. “Adam is the perfect person to help take the USA Boxing Foundation to another level, and we are ecstatic to see him lead the way. His passion for Olympic-style boxing and his determination for USA Boxing to be best in the world is apparent through his actions as a member of the USA Boxing Board of Directors. Additionally, I would like to thank the previous President of the USA Boxing Foundation, Ed Reiner, for his years of service and for setting the framework for the Foundation to build on.”

Mancuso has served on the USA Boxing Foundation Board of Directors since October 2023 as a Trustee and the Vice President since April 2024.
