With less than a month left in 2024, USA Boxing has completed training for eight new Bronze Level Coaching Clinicians as a part of the organization’s coaching education program. Through their training, these eight coaches will now be able to lead Bronze Level coaching clinics across the nation on behalf of USA Boxing.

The addition of these eight Bronze Level clinicians matches a call for USA Boxing at a time when coaching certifications for Bronze Level coaching programs has grown exponentially over the past two years. As it stands, USA Boxing now has 20 Bronze Level certified clinicians within its coaching education program. Additionally, three of those 20 clinicians are also certified as Silver Level clinicians.

To become certified as a USA Boxing Bronze Level clinician, individuals must be a member of the organization and complete an application process. Applicants must then be selected for an interview by USA Boxing.

From there, a select group are then invited to the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center for a week-long training, led by USA Boxing’s Coaching Education Clinician Gilberto Garza. Garza oversees a rigorous curriculum for those candidates to pass along the delivery methods of USA Boxing’s Bronze Level coaching knowledge and skillset over that seven-day period.
