AIBA Announces Official List of 286 Boxers Representing 78 Nations

With only 16 days remaining until Olympic Boxing gets underway, AIBA announced the final names of those boxers participating in the 2008 Summer Games.  Russia leads the world, qualifying all 11 of its boxers while Morocco, Cuba, China, and Kazakhstan are not far behind, each sending 10.  Nine boxers from the United States, France, and Australia will compete in Beijing. 

Boxing begins August 9 and will continue through August 24.  Click here to view the official list of athletes.
