The 2009 National Golden Gloves Will Not Serve as a Qualifier for the 2009 USA Boxing National Championships

Due to the 2009 USA Boxing National Championships being contested one month after the 2009 National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions, Golden Gloves of America has decided not to advance their champions to the USA Boxing National Championships. The Golden Gloves champions will therefore not earn an automatic berth into the USA Boxing National Championships.

The National Golden Gloves will be contested May 4-9 in Salt Lake City, Utah and the USA Boxing National Championships will take place June 8-13 in Denver, Colo. Please contact Golden Gloves of America with any questions.
