Event Dates: July 12 - 17, 2010
Departure Date: July 18, 2010
Age Determination Date: Athletes must be 17 years of age on August 1, 2010 and cannot exceed 34 years of age on August 1, 2010.

Number of rounds and round durations
Males: Preliminary Rounds = Three 3-minute rounds
Finals = Three 3-minute rounds
Females: Preliminary Rounds = Four 2-minute rounds
Finals = Four 2-minute rounds
NOTE FOR MALE CHAMPIONS FROM THE 2009 USA BOXING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
USA BOXING WILL ALLOW ALL MALE CHAMPIONS FROM THE 2009 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AN AUTOMATIC BID INTO THE 2010 USA BOXING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
(Athletes must register for the 2010 USA Boxing National Championships in the same weight class that they competed in at the 2009 USA Boxing National Championships. If they can no longer compete in that weight class then the must qualify via a different avenue listed below. Athletes who won the 2009 National Championships at the following weight classes: 106lbs, 112lbs, 119lbs, 125lbs will be allowed to go up or down one weight class for the 2010 National Championships.)

- 2009 USA Boxing National Champions
- At-Large Athletes (Must apply through National Office)
- Independent Slot Athletes (Must apply through National Office)
Qualification Avenues for Senior Females: (Open Event)
- 14 Regional Tournaments
- Golden Glove National Champions
- Police Athletic League Champions
- Air Force
- Army
- Marines
- Navy
- Unattached Boxers (Any athlete who does not come via one of the above qualifiers)
