Officials Certification Control Number Procedure/Program
by Enrique Orci / September 30, 2009
Enrique Orci, National COO, would like to respectfully remind all LBCs and all USAB boxing officials that the USAB Official's Task Force, in conjunction with USAB's Office of Membership Services, established an Official's Certification Clinic Control Number (OCN) procedure/program, effective August 1, 2009.
The primary purpose of this procedure/program is the goal of achieving the "best possible decision for our boxers" through a certification process that is uniform for all USAB officials on a nationwide basis.
All related documentation (Memo, dated July 1, 2009, to All LBC Presidents and LBC Chiefs of Officials (COOs), Subject: Official's Certification Clinic Control Number (OCN); USABs Official's Clinic Form; and, the sample entry in the Official's Pass Book in the Records of Clinics, Seminars and Testing section) can be found in the Officials section of USA Boxing's website by clicking here.
Any questions regarding this procedure and program should be addressed to Lynette Smith of USABs Office of Membership Services at 719-866-2311; email lsmith@usaboxing.org; fax 719-632-3426.
