Progress

My Name is Nicholas Kisner.  I have won the 2007 National Junior Olympics, the 2008   Under 19 National Championships, and the 2008 National PAL Championships in the open division. I am now at training camp in Colorado Springs for the Youth World Championships, which is being held in Mexico.

I have been aware of all the talk that is going on about the USA Boxing Program. It also comes to my attention that a lot of people are not very happy about USA only coming back with one bronze medal from the 2008 games that was in China. And now there is talk about how the USA Boxing program is not good. But in my week that I have been here I have noticed that the program itself is progressing a lot. The workouts have been very informative and the coaches that are helping get the team ready for the Youth World Championships are knowledgeable. We are set on bringing back gold medals in all 11 weight classes, not just for ourselves but for the USA Boxing program and for our country.

So despite the talk about how the program is going, we are letting everyone know that USA Boxing is in very good shape and that the program is progressing every day. So hopefully the work and knowledge that is being put into the camps of USA Boxing will help us and we will be able to bring back as many medals as we can at the Youth World Championships.
